Christians Together in Torquay December News

I hope you’ve enjoyed a very happy Christmas and a good start to the New Year. Did everything go according to plan for your household? For me this Christmas there were any number of unexpected twists and turns and a number of our plans had to be altered or abandoned. Perhaps you’ve experienced that too over the last few weeks – illness, travel disruptions, family problems or other crises. We certainly don’t have to look far to see people in all sorts of need. There was even a “Christmas Goes Wrong Show” included in the BBC Christmas schedules!
As we begin 2020 let’s give thanks for God’s perfect plan – when the time was right God sent his Son (Gal 4.4), and at just the right time Christ died for the ungodly (Rom 5.6).   Our God is never surprised or caught out by the unexpected. This year let’s continue to trust to his perfect plans and perfect timing!
